In order to boost research, scale up skill development, and enable technology translation for industry, IIT Mandi iHub and HCI Foundation is providing financial assistance to Start-ups working in the domain of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) through a variety of funding schemes and programs such as-
Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) - Seed Support Scheme (SSS) program
The CPS-Seed Support Scheme program is focused on commercializing products developed by startups under the incubation program. Startup registered private company and completed a minimum of three months incubation period at the TBI can get support up to 50 Lakh as a soft loan or against equity, or a combination of both.
Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) – Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program
The EIR program is aimed at inspiring the best talents to be entrepreneurs, minimizing the risk involved in pursuing start-ups, and partially setting off the opportunity costs of high-paying jobs. The iHub EIR program provides opportunities for innovative entrepreneurs to expand their networks and get critical feedback on their ventures in order to promote their entrepreneurial career goals and aspirations.
Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) - Promoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Innovators and Startups (PRAYAS) program
The CPS-PRAYAS program is focused on the Idea-to-prototyping journey of young startups/innovators. The individual innovators or startups that are in the idea-prototype stage can benefit from this scheme with a maximum grant of INR 6 Lakhs and access to the IIT Mandi campus. The duration of the engagement can range from 6-18 months.
Cyber Physical Systems (CPS)-Accelerator program
The CPS-Accelerator program is a short individualized program aimed at helping startups to accelerate growth, quickly acquire entrepreneurial competencies, raise seed funding, and provide a greater overall chance of surviving.
Innovative Ideas
Since our establishment at IIT Mandi, we have handpicked innovative ideas and supported over 75 during that time. We have provided seed funding to 11 startups which have generated 198 employment opportunities and 93 internship opportunities so far. Our funded startups have received nearly 18 awards at the state, national and international levels. Their work area includes agriculture, healthcare, disaster management, waste management, clean energy, and education.
